Highlights the local heartbeat of carnival as neighborhoods come alive with music, costumes, and tradition. It’s a vibrant celebration where families, friends, and performers fill the streets with joyful community energy.
Workshops

Teaching kids, teens, schools and groups leading up to carnival, the history of our carnival and DIY how to use foam, paint, and hardware to create carnival props

Karnaval den Bario is where the true spirit of Carnival comes alive not on the streets, but in the hearts of our people. This year, we’re bringing the joy of Carnival directly to our elderly, our children, and our brothers and sisters with disabilities
Entrega di Yabi

A vibrant ceremony called Entrega di Yabi. The symbolic handover of the keys to Willemstad to the Prins and Pancho to open the carnival season.
Marcha Hubenil

In the heart of carnival season, there’s one parade that belongs to the future Marcha Hubenil. The streets fill with color, laughter and rhythm as our children take the stage
Teener Parade

The teener parade remains on of the most anticipated highlights of the carnival season
Though it takes place on just one evening, it captures the essence of carnival vibrant, youthful, and full of energy

The Marcha Bándabou brings the western communities of Curaçao together in a lively display of culture and pride. With music, color, and energetic groups, this parade celebrates the creativity and unity of Bándabou in true carnival spirit.
Calle 9: Battle of the Drums

Calle 9 brings the heart of curaçao to downtown Punda with an epic battle of drums and live performances by local bands.

Gran Marcha

The Gran Marcha stands as the most significant and anticipated parade of the year. It represents the true essence of Carnival Unity, creativity, and island pride.
Marcha Despedida Hubenil

The Marcha Despedida Hubenil celebrates the vibrant spirit of Curaçao’s youth as they take their final lap of the carnival season. Filled with color, movement, and joyful energy, this parade honors the creativity and enthusiasm of the island’s youngest participants.
Gran Marcha Despedida

The Gran Marcha Despedida marks the emotional closing of the main carnival parades. It’s a final celebration of unity, artistry, and community, where participants give their last, most vibrant performance before saying farewell to the season.
Entrega di Premio

The Entrega di Premio brings together groups, performers, and artists to honor the outstanding creativity of the carnival season. From costumes to choreography and musical excellence, this ceremony celebrates the talent and dedication that make Curaçao’s Carnival unforgettable.
